“ Overall rating: 4.7 I absolutely loved this bar and will become one of my go tos when I’m in the area. Super chill, laid back, rustic energy. I wish I took some pictures, but I’ll have to update this when I come back again :) this is a great spot for solo, friends, dates and anything in between. I thought the bartenders were so nice and the locals were chill. I didn’t feel creeped out or weird at all. The booths are also different seating than I’m used to, but also loved. Wish it was a tad, tad darker & slightly too bright. But highly recommend! ”
“ I knew this was the right place after ordering an old fashion, the owner pulls out a thick glass mixer, fills it with large ice cubs, and begins to stir religiously. Great cocktails, affordable, quiet crowd. Owner is hospitable and typically behind the bar. Nice getaway from the craziness down the street. ”

“ This place is special. There are bars all over the neighborhood but this is one of the only neighborhood bars. It's not pretentious, it's not over-priced, there's no sense of it being patronizing or contrived. It's a bar. As mundane as that sounds, it's actually quite rare. ”

There a lot of outdoor seating in a street shanty. It's not a dive bar. It's also not so upscale that you feel uncomfortable. The staff is great.
